Security Measures
At Practice Management we are extremely serious about securing Protected Health Information (PHI) and Electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI). As such, we have implemented the following safeguards to our IT security:
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a layered defense security system that requires more than one method of authentication from independent categories of credentials to verify the user’s identity prior to successfully completing an action or gaining access to information.
- Penetration testing which attempts to defeat security threats and to identify if unauthorized access or malicious activity is possible.
- Data loss detection utilizes software to log employee computer activity and sends alerts when possible security threats or productivity issues are identified.
Our systems are designed to keep you compliant and all health information protected.
