John Zulaski President Having earned his undergraduate degree from Bradley University in 1986, and his master's degree from Northern Illinois University in 1989, John accepted an offer from a large group practice and immediately began applying his knowledge of marketing, advertising, and statistical analysis to help improve the business.

Ambitious and thorough, John immediately proved himself to be instrumental to the practice; offering his insights and unwavering work ethic to everything from reducing practice expenses, to generating income and improving operational aspects of the business. In 1994 -- just 6 years after he was hired --John assumed the position of Director of Operations, managing all operational aspects of a thirty clinician multi-disciplinary practice, including clinical programs and office staff.

Co-founder and President of Practice Management, John brings with him an impressive track record of superior performance in the field of practice management and medical billing. With over 20 years of experience, John has proven his dedication to helping physicians improve operations and increase practice revenue.

Vera Loftin Vice-President After receiving her MBA from Southern Illinois University in 1983,Vera -- named "Most Outstanding Female MBA Graduate" -- began a successful career in the field of medical billing. Vera, among her many outstanding accomplishments, served as CEO of a large group practice for 14 years, making a tremendous impact on their internal operations and revenues during that time. Having honed her expertise through her work, she then moved on to offer her knowledge and insights to other practices, co-founding Practice Management in 1995.

With over 20 years of experience in health care operations, as well as in the development and implementation of health care marketing strategy, Vera is considered an expert in her field. She has written articles published in both the Illinois Medical Journal and Computers and Physician Magazine. In addition, Vera has presented at a number of conferences - including the American Psychiatric Association conference - on the subject of effective office practice management.

Vera has held memberships and leadership positions with several advisory boards and councils, and is currently a member of two: the Provider Outreach & Education Advisory Group (POE AG) for WPS (Medicare), and the Harper College Medical Office Administration Programs Advisory Board.
